Badge reels are made using an acrylic blank. The vinyl lettering or design will be placed on the front side and coated in resin for a smooth, durable and shiny appearance. The backside will be coated an a glitter and resin mixture. The badge reel will be affixed directly to the back of the blank, unless the interchangeable option is selected. For interchangeable badge reels, plastic velcro is used to adhered the acrylic piece to the badge reel itself.
Occasionally, the badge reels themselves become worn and damaged, it is a good idea to choose the interchangeable option if you'd like to swap out the reel and keep the designed acrylic piece.
*Exercise caution when wearing interchangeable badge reels as tugging and pulling can cause the velcro pieces to detach.*
Keep in mind that with the exception of the standard shapes, the acrylic blanks are cut to only say particular words/phrases, if you would like a name on these designs it will be placed on top of the design to the best of our ability.
